A hybrid sauna combines a sauna heater and infrared emitters in one cabin. For each session you choose: deep infrared warmth or a classic Finnish sauna with steam.

Frequently asked questions about a sauna at home
How much space do I need for an infrared sauna at home?
A 1 person infrared sauna fits in about 90 by 90 cm. A 2 person model needs around 120 by 105 cm. Leave some space for the door and ventilation. The projects on this page show how customers solved this in small bathrooms and attics.
Can I put a sauna in the bathroom?
Yes, an infrared sauna works well in the bathroom, as long as the room is ventilated and the sauna is not in the wet zone. Canadian Red Cedar is a good choice, because the wood is naturally moisture resistant and mould resistant.
Do I need a three-phase power supply?
Most SuperSauna infrared and hybrid saunas run on 230 volts, so they plug into a normal socket. Only larger Finnish saunas with a heavy heater need 380 volts.
Can I use an outdoor sauna all year round?
Yes, outdoor saunas are made for every season. Customers use their barrel sauna or sauna POD especially in winter. A solid base and a canopy keep the wood looking good for longer.
Can I see the saunas on this page in real life?
Yes. Most models are on display in one of the 11 SuperSauna showrooms. You can walk in, take a seat in the sauna and compare types of wood. You will find addresses and opening hours on the showroom page.
