The infrared cabin is equipped with Infraheat™ Intense heaters, which provide a good deep-tissue effect. The Infraheat™ Intense heaters are installed in such a way that they work on the back, legs, and calves. The Infraheat™ Intense heaters in the back area work on the muscles and the nervous system from the lower back up to the neck. This part of the spine is where most muscle and joint pain occurs. In the front part of the cabin (left and right or in the front panel) you will find more Infraheat™ Intense heaters that effectively treat knee problems, rheumatic hand pain, and osteoarthritis. The last Infraheat™ Intense heater is located behind the calves under the bench and is the only heater that can be switched on and off separately.

THIS IS HOW THE INFRAHEAT™ HEATERS WORK

Furthermore, you receive two Infraheat™ Nano-Carbon XL heaters in the side walls. With these Infraheat™ Nano-Carbon XL heaters, you get a pleasant, mild infrared heat for your shoulders and neck while in a relaxed position.

Optionally, this infrared cabin can also be equipped with an Infraheat™ Fullspectrum heater. This is always done in consultation with the customer. The full-spectrum heater also has a short-wave component, infrared A (IR-A). This wavelength has the fastest, deepest effect and is recommended for rheumatic and arthritic complaints.

In just a few minutes, your cabin is warmed up and ready for use thanks to the patented Infraheat™ technology. The specially developed Infraheat™ Intense heater provides intense heat with a good deep-tissue effect to relieve muscle and joint pain. In our quality infrared cabins, people have been experiencing the benefits of this infrared heat for years. The Infraheat™ Intense heater is a long-wave heater (IR-C) with a transition to medium-wave (IR-B). Experience the wonderful intensive deep-tissue effect and feel reborn after every infrared session! This cabin is complemented by two carbon heaters, which provide wonderful, mild infrared heat for the shoulders and neck. Through our combination of the different infrared heaters, this cabin has a relieving effect on muscle and joint pain, rheumatic and arthritic complaints, and also fibromyalgia.

WOOD SELECTION SUPERSAUNA®

For most models, you can choose between two different types of wood: hemlock or Canadian red cedar (surcharge). Before the wood is finalized, both types are dried in special kilns. This process removes moisture from the wood, which is important to ensure the wood does not "work" afterward. Another major advantage of these two wood types is that they are almost knot-free and splinter-free. This makes these wood types extremely durable and a purchase for life. Canadian red cedar has an additional special property: this wood type contains an antibacterial oil that acts as a fungicide and bactericide.

But maintenance is also important. After each use, you should wipe down the cabin with a damp cloth without any cleaning agents. After wiping, simply leave the door open and let the cabin air out. To keep maintenance to a minimum and reduce the risk of sweat stains as much as possible, we recommend using plenty of towels. One towel on the bench, one on the floor, and one to wipe sweat from your body. If you continue to sweat permanently during a session, your body will try to cool down further, and you will continue to sweat freely. For extra hygiene, you can purchase a sauna cushion from us. If you sweat through the towel, the stain will end up on the cushion and not on the wood. Simply wipe the cushion, and you are done. No stain on the wood. Once a stain is in the wood, we recommend wiping the area over a large surface and letting it air out.

Short-wave infrared (wavelength 750nm - 1400nm)

The shorter the wavelength of infrared, the more heat is caused on the skin and the shorter you can use it. This makes it difficult for our body to properly absorb this type of infrared radiation. This form of infrared radiation has the advantage that it penetrates slightly deeper into our body. For this reason, early clinical trials (before 1998) were predominantly positive about this type of short-wave infrared radiation. However, later studies concluded that long-wave infrared radiation has advantages. The average usage time of the short-wave is only about 10 minutes per session.

Long-wave infrared (wavelength 3000nm - 10,000nm)

The long-wave infrared radiation goes slightly less deep than the short-wave, but is much better absorbed by our body. For this reason, the best therapeutic results are usually achieved with this type of infrared emitter. For deeper pain (for example, a hernia), the use of a short-wave emitter can be beneficial. In the SuperSauna® specialist shop, we will be happy to explain how you can optimally use the combination of the different heaters.

Absorption more important than depth!

In the past, the emphasis was mainly on the depth effect of infrared. Later, however, it was discovered that infrared absorption is much more important. Because this largely determines the therapeutic effect. As a result, most clinical studies* (after 2002) support long-wave infrared more than short-wave infrared.

Infraheat™ Intense

For years, we have been using emitters from the Infraheat™ brand. These emitters have been specially developed for relieving muscle and joint pain. The emitter is a long-wave emitter with a transition to the medium-wave and is made of a special ceramic magnesium oxide material. Because the Infraheat™ Intense generates medium-wave infrared in addition to the long-wave, this radiation has a good depth effect on the body. This depth effect is important for relieving muscle and joint pain. Infraheat™ is a reliable choice with years of proven performance.

Infraheat™ Carbon

Carbon emitters are known for the nice, mild heat in the infrared sauna. We use the Infraheat Carbon emitters in combination with the Infraheat Intense emitters to create a perfect heat balance in the IR cabin. The Infraheat Carbon emitters are usually placed as a supplement in the side walls of the IR cabin. As a result, you experience wonderful infrared heat on all sides of your body and still get a mild heat on your back in a relaxed position. This unique combination of emitters ensures a unique infrared experience that is unique in Europe.

Infraheat™ Full Spectrum

Infraplus makes it possible to equip your cabin with Infraheat full-spectrum emitters (optional). This means you not only have medium and long-wave infrared heat but also a portion of short-wave (IR-A). In consultation with the customer, we ensure the perfect balance in your IR sauna. The full-spectrum emitters can be placed according to customer-specific wishes, so that a suitable configuration is possible for everyone.

Installation of your SuperSauna®

Assembly is kept very simple by prefabricated elements and is also feasible for a layman. You only have to put 9 parts together. You can do this easily with our clear assembly instructions. The points where benches, backrests and other parts must be attached are already pre-assembled. You no longer have to measure anything. Just hang and screw.

Installing accessories

Colour therapy lamps: The colour therapy lamp is attached to the inside of the roof. All you have to do is drill a hole for the cable and screw the panel lamp in place with 4 hooks. Do not cut and let in, just put it on.

Full-spectrum emitter: Place the full-spectrum emitter instead of an intense emitter. To do this, remove the built-in intense emitter and replace it with the full-spectrum emitter.

Underfloor heating: The underfloor heating is placed on the floor. You have to drill a hole in the calf emitter plate so that the cable is not pinched and connect it to the back wall with a Y-connector.
